Registration is open for the 2019 National Institute of Justice Forensic Science Research and Development Symposium, to be held Feb. 19, 2019, during the American Academy of Forensic Sciences meeting in Baltimore, Md. The Forensic Technology Center of Excellence will assist in hosting the symposium, which will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. ET. The future of forensic sciences and its impact on the public and criminal justice community is a motivating topic to gather expertise in a forum to discuss, discover and share new research approaches and applications to promote the advancement of forensic sciences. Symposium attendees can learn about NIJ-funded research across a variety of forensic science areas.
